Captain Lachrymose_DIAL H_character design by Santolouco Captain Lachrymose_DIAL H_character design by Santolouco
I think is ok to show this since a page with him was posted on DC Comics' The Source.> [link]

This was a fun design to create. The character description said something about a traditional superhero suit and a stylised teardrop instead of the "S" of Superman. And he is Captain Lachrymose, so I thought to myself: "he is a emo kid".
So the hair style, pin bracelets and belt, just as the striped sleeves were easy. Then I just had to figured out the teardrop logo. Just turned the superman logo upside down and added a "all crying eye" right there. There you go!
Cheer up masons!

Dial H had to have been one of the greatest comics to make heroes for, since you can do just about anything and it would work. I mean, come on! You drew an emo Superman! How awesome is that?!

I just loved Dial H and am very sad to see the book come to an end so soon.

think you can do all the ones that appeared at the beggining of issue two. Shamanticore, human virus, Pelican Army Etc.

Those characters from issue 2's cover and first page are the only characters in the series that I haven't designed so far.
For these, design credits go to Brian Bolland.

Interessante esse design. Não conheço esse personagem, mas confesso que esse estilão meio bizarro dele me deixou curioso.
